Alongside vitamins, minerals and plant extracts, the A.G.E. formulas contain further selected substances: carotenoids, polyphenols, amino sugars and more. All of them are vegan

Astaxanthin

A red carotenoid. It comes from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis and is therefore purely plant-based. Included in 40+ and 60+.

Resveratrol

A polyphenol that is also found in grapes and berries. We use trans-resveratrol from Japanese knotweed. Included in 40+ and 60+.

Alpha-lipoic acid

A sulphur-containing fatty acid that the body also produces itself and that is found in spinach and broccoli. Vegan, included in 60+

Coenzyme Q10

A vitamin-like compound that is present in every cell of the body and is also found in nuts and plant oils. Vegan, included in 60+.

Curcumin

The yellow pigment of the turmeric root, a traditional spice in Indian cuisine. We use turmeric extract. Included in 40+ and 60+.

Piperine

The pungent component of black pepper. We use black pepper extract. Included in 40+ and 60+.

Glucosamine

An amino sugar. We use D-glucosamine sulphate, vegan and made without animal-derived raw materials. Included in 60+.

Hyaluronic acid

A polysaccharide that occurs naturally in the body. Vegan, produced by fermentation. Included in 60+.

Phytodroitin

A plant extract from the brown alga bladderwrack. The vegan alternative to chondroitin from animal sources. Included in 60+.

Sodium hyaluronate

The sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Vegan, included in 40+.

Peppermint extract

An extract from peppermint leaves that adds a fresh flavour note. Included in all three formulas.

Erythritol

A sugar alcohol that we use for sweetening together with steviol glycosides from stevia. Included in all three formulas.

1 — Immune system With vitamins A, C, D, B6 and B12 as well as folate, zinc, copper and selenium, A.G.E. Elements contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

2 — Energy & metabolism Vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, riboflavin (vitamin B2), niacin, pantothenic acid and magnesium contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance. Biotin and zinc contribute to normal macronutrient metabolism.

3 — Cell protection With vitamins E and C and riboflavin, zinc, copper and selenium, A.G.E. Elements contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Folate, vitamin B6 and B12 contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism.

4 — Mental performance & nervous system With pantothenic acid, A.G.E. Elements contributes to normal mental performance. Zinc contributes to normal cognitive function. With vitamins C, B6 and B12 as well as thiamine, niacin, biotin and magnesium, A.G.E. Elements contributes to normal psychological function and to normal functioning of the nervous system.

5 — Skin, hair & nails With vitamin A and riboflavin, niacin, biotin and zinc, A.G.E. Elements contributes to the maintenance of normal skin.
