From leaf to root: the plants in our formulas

Leaves, berries, roots and algae: every A.G.E. formula contains selected plant extracts and plant powders. Here you can see which plant is in which formula. All purely plant-based and vegan.

Spirulina

It's a blue-green microalga that has been used as food for centuries. We use it as a finely ground spirulina powder. Included in all three formulas.

Spinach

It's one of the best-known leafy greens. Dried and finely ground, it becomes spinach powder. Included in all three formulas.

Blueberry extract

Blueberries owe their deep blue colour to anthocyanins, natural plant pigments. We use them as a concentrated blueberry extract. Included in 20+ and 40+.

Barley grass

Barley grass

It's the young green shoots of the barley plant, harvested before it forms grains. Our formulas contain it as barley grass powder. Included in all three formulas.

Panax ginseng

Comes from East Asia, where it has a long tradition. We use it as a ginseng extract. Included in 20+.

Passion flower

The passion flower is known for its striking blossoms and is native to the Americas. We use it as a passion flower extract. Included in 40+.

Ashwagandha

(Withania somnifera) is a plant from India's Ayurvedic tradition. We use it as an ashwagandha extract. Included in all three formulas.

Rhodiola

Rhodiola rosea, also known as roseroot, grows in the cool mountain regions of Europe and Asia. We use it as a rhodiola extract. Included in 60+.

Kale

A classic winter vegetable from the cabbage family. Dried and finely ground, it complements our green base as kale powder. Included in 20+ and 40+.

Cocoa

Is obtained from the beans of the cacao tree. We use it as cocoa powder. Included in 20+.

Ginkgo

(Ginkgo biloba) is one of the oldest tree species on Earth. Its fan-shaped leaves are dried and ground into ginkgo leaf powder. Included in 60+.

Authorised Health Claims (HCR)

1 — Immune system With vitamins A, C, D, B6 and B12 as well as folate, zinc, copper and selenium, A.G.E. Elements contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

2 — Energy & metabolism Vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, riboflavin (vitamin B2), niacin, pantothenic acid and magnesium contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance. Biotin and zinc contribute to normal macronutrient metabolism.

3 — Cell protection With vitamins E and C and riboflavin, zinc, copper and selenium, A.G.E. Elements contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Folate, vitamin B6 and B12 contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism.

4 — Mental performance & nervous system With pantothenic acid, A.G.E. Elements contributes to normal mental performance. Zinc contributes to normal cognitive function. With vitamins C, B6 and B12 as well as thiamine, niacin, biotin and magnesium, A.G.E. Elements contributes to normal psychological function and to normal functioning of the nervous system.

5 — Skin, hair & nails With vitamin A and riboflavin, niacin, biotin and zinc, A.G.E. Elements contributes to the maintenance of normal skin. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin. Biotin, zinc and selenium contribute to the maintenance of normal hair; zinc and selenium to the maintenance of normal nails.

6 — Hormonal system Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood. Selenium contributes to normal thyroid function.

7 — Mucous membranesWith vitamin A, biotin, riboflavin and niacin, A.G.E. Elements contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.

8 — Muscles With magnesium, A.G.E. Elements contributes to normal muscle function. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function.
